Cookie Declaration

Last updated: 15 August 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners.

CreativeArc takes a minimal approach to cookies. We set only what is strictly necessary to operate the platform, plus one optional analytics cookie you can decline at any time (see Section 4). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. Storage we set

The following values are set by CreativeArc directly, as first-party browser cookies:

NameTypePurposeDurationParty
sidebar_stateFunctionalRemembers whether your sidebar is open or collapsed between visits.Persistent cookie (7 days)First-party
arc_analytics_consentAnalytics preferenceRecords whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so the banner is not shown again.Persistent cookie (1 year)First-party

Both values are ordinary first-party cookies, not localStorage. Our servers do not read or act on them-they exist purely for the browser's own use, are never sold or shared, and cannot be used to track you across other sites.

3. Third-party cookies

CreativeArc uses the following third-party services that may set their own cookies or use equivalent storage mechanisms:

NameTypePurposeDurationParty
__session / __client_uatAuthenticationClerk authentication session-keeps you signed in.Session / 1 yearClerk (clerk.com)
Stripe cookiesFunctionalStripe uses cookies on its hosted payment pages to detect fraud and process payments securely.Session / 1 yearStripe (stripe.com)
Sentry error monitoringFunctionalCaptures crash reports and error diagnostics (URL, browser, stack trace) to help us fix bugs. Does not set tracking cookies and does not include your generated images or prompts.N/ASentry (sentry.io)

These third-party cookies are subject to the respective providers' own cookie and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those directly:

4. Optional analytics

If you accept analytics when first visiting CreativeArc, we use PostHog to collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, features used, session counts). This helps us understand how the product is used and where to improve it. PostHog does not receive your generated images, prompts, or personal data beyond what a standard analytics tool sees (page URL, browser type, approximate location).

You can withdraw consent at any time from the Cookie Preferences control below-no need to touch your browser's developer tools.

CreativeArc does not use:

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Cross-site tracking or fingerprinting
  • Social media pixels

5. Managing cookies

The quickest way to change your analytics choice is the Cookie Preferences control in Section 4. You can also control and delete cookies directly through your browser settings at any time. Here are links to the cookie management pages for common browsers:

Clearing cookies through your browser will sign you out of CreativeArc and reset your sidebar and analytics preferences (sidebar_state, arc_analytics_consent) the next time you visit.

6. Your consent

When you first visit CreativeArc, a notice appears at the bottom-right of the screen giving you the choice to Accept or Reject analytics cookies. Your choice is stored in the arc_analytics_consent cookie and the banner will not reappear unless you clear it or reopen it from Cookie Preferences. Functional storage (sidebar state) is used regardless of your analytics choice, as it is strictly necessary to operate the platform.

If you have questions, email support@creativearc.ai.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days in advance. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
