The Visual Directions card generates four renders of your space, labelled Direction 1 to Direction 4. They share your brief's constraints but each takes a different design approach. Before it runs, a dialog titled Generate four design directions shows the credit estimate; confirm it to start, or Cancel.
Idea Design Freedom
In the brief's Design Freedom section. Conservative, Balanced (default) or Experimental: how adventurous the written ideas and directions are.
Render Design Freedom
Also in Design Freedom. Conservative, Balanced (default) or Experimental: how much freedom the image generator has to reinterpret materials and finishes.
Direction tile
Each tile shows its render and label. Select it, then use View larger in the toolbar above the images to open it full size.
Select direction
The tick on a tile selects that direction (it reads Selected once chosen). Selected directions are the ones the toolbar actions apply to.
View design idea
Opens the design idea behind the direction.
Retry / New version
Retry re-runs a render that failed, with the same saved strategy. New version makes another render of that direction. Both show a credit estimate first; New estimate refreshes it. If a result is uncertain, the button reads Check again and does not start another paid generation.
Earlier
Previous versions of a direction are kept under an Earlier label on its tile.
Directions saved from before Design DNA existed stay viewable, but the boards that depend on it need a newly generated direction.
