Floor plan or sketch to editable 2D plan and 3D scene
Sketch Plan
Sketch Plan turns a floor plan, sketch or drawing set into an editable 2D plan that also drives a 3D scene. You review what was read before anything is built, and you can edit rooms, walls, doors and windows by hand.
01
Start from a drawing or from nothing
In the 3D area, open a scene and use Upload a floor plan (JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF). Tick Also detect existing furniture first if you want beds, sofas, tables and similar pieces read too. With no plan to upload, choose Start sketching from scratch instead.
02
Read the plan
Reading the drawing is its own paid step, started with Read floor plan (Read structure again once a plan exists), so you can add notes first. If a reading finishes but cannot be saved, the panel offers Apply saved result again, which does not ask for a new reading.
03
Review and edit
Correct rooms, walls, openings and furniture in the plan. Use Undo and Redo, Duplicate selected and Delete selected as needed.
04
Export
Use Export DXF to download the plan for CAD.
Right panel
Three tabs: Properties for the selected element, Saved views for camera positions (only when the plan belongs to a building, and saving a camera needs Perspective view), and View settings for 2D line weight, colour and fill by category.
Reference Drawings / Floor Plans
Lists the source drawings and floors attached to the plan. Replace source swaps a floor's source drawing.
Floor Transform
Select the whole floor to move, rotate or scale it. The alignment arrows nudge it, and the rotate buttons turn it 5 degrees at a time.
Validation issues
Use Show room and zone validation issues to highlight rooms or zones that have a problem.
Credit cost: Reading the floor plan is charged when it runs. Editing the plan by hand costs nothing. Detailed per-tool steps are not yet documented here.
